It's been two days since I discovered durumis, and so far, I've published two posts besides this one. Since it's still in beta, I believe it will gradually offer more useful and convenient features. Today, I want to discuss something that isn't limited to durumis; it's something essential for anyone using the internet. I'll share how to subscribe to blogs and websites using RSS, something I personally overlooked and now realize I should know. I haven't installed or prepared any programs yet. I'll test it and follow the instructions step-by-step as I write this post.
Since I use Windows 11, I asked Copilot for recommendations on good programs or apps in English. It suggested "RSSOwl" at the top, as the most reliable option. So, I decided to try it.
However, it failed due to missing Java-related files, so I deleted it.
After further searching, I found that it's possible to use a browser extension without installing a separate program. This popular extension caught my eye.

The installation was successful, and I accessed the main page.
First step in subscribing to rss using Livemarks
I didn't have any blogs to test yet, so I decided to try the official blog first.
Clicking rss
The previously blank page automatically loaded, which I could confirm.
Subscribing to the official durumis blog using Livemarks
As a test, I added "rss" to the end of the URL for my old Tistory blog (which I ran until the end of last year). Livemarks recognized it and showed all my posts. (It's now a black history, so I can't share it.)
Some websites don't support RSS. Assuming they do, if you see an RSS icon, click it, or as with Tistory, add "rss" to the end of the URL. It seems convenient. If you want to save it for later viewing, click "Add Livemark" at the top.

So, I've successfully saved the durumis official blog. I hope to fill it with more beautiful and inspiring stories from others in the future.
