It's Just Gratitude

On my way to church, I suddenly realized how grateful I am for my comfortable home and my "neighborhood," where I always feel at ease... Seeing the homeless and disaster victims on the news who have lost all their possessions because of natural disasters broke my heart, but there was nothing I could do for them. In times like these, I am even more determined to practice the warm love of Jesus with my family and neighbors.

Driving by, I often wonder, "Where are all these cars going, and why?" Everyone has their own story and reasons for settling here. Living in this time, seeing how a new chapter of American history is being made, even if I can't make a huge contribution, the feeling of being a small part of it is incredibly proud and fulfilling.

Actually, until this morning, I had planned to write a gratitude journal with several entries each week. However, the concern of my privacy being exposed while trying to spend the Sabbath meaningfully became a major obstacle. Therefore, instead of writing "Month, Day Gratitude Journal" as the title, I plan to write here freely, choosing one particularly moving topic each day, like today.

Once again, I feel how precious this time and these moments spent with my family are. No matter how close you get to others in the world, they are ultimately strangers, and they will never truly understand you deep down. Although there are sometimes quarrels and conflicts within the family, because we've shared hardships together, we can forgive each other and move towards reconciliation and healing through warm words and hugs.

I had a lot of things to do today, and I feel like I spent it meaningfully and productively. I'll get some rest this Sunday evening, and then from tomorrow, I'll work diligently within the time the Lord has given me. To think I even uploaded a YouTube video today!... And honestly, I almost skipped writing for durumis today, but I couldn't give up on my daily post, so I've shared this little story.
