Saturday Morning Reward for a Week Well Spent

This photo is not related to the breakfast in the article

Even though I'm unemployed, I'm living my life and taking care of my family. Our meals are also carefully planned. Breakfast is light, lunch is Korean food, and dinner is something other than rice, like sweet potatoes or noodles. For breakfast, my family and I eat slightly different things, but for me, it's a boiled egg, an apple, and a banana.

However, Saturdays are an exception. As the title says, it's simply a way for me to reward myself after working hard from Monday to Friday. Besides, as someone who loves new things and has a childlike palate, eating the same thing for seven days is practically torture.

That's why my mother always keeps cereal in the house. We mostly eat the granola from Costco shown in the picture below.

I eat this with a boiled egg and an apple every Saturday morning. I had this for breakfast today as well. Sometimes I replace it with donuts or other cereals, but the point is the satisfaction I get from filling my stomach and eating delicious food. As someone once said, the world is full of delicious food, and it's a big problem! However, it's much better than being picky and not eating enough, at least for my health...

I hardly ever exercise and eat whatever is given to me, yet I maintain a good physique, which is amazing. High blood pressure runs in the family, and I'm now middle-aged, so I have to be careful about my health in many ways. In that sense, today's lunch is bean sprout stew!!!
