How to Transfer Finale Files to MuseScore

I imagine many people, like myself, are switching from Finale to MuseScore. So, today I'll show you how to open Finale files in MuseScore. Screenshots aren't possible, so I'll just use text.

1. First, open the Finale file you want to transfer.

2. Select File > Export > MusicXML and save it to your desired folder.

3. Open MuseScore.

4. Now, click File > Open and select the file you exported from Finale.

I have an old choral arrangement I'm considering converting to MIDI or an audio file to upload to a new Christian music YouTube channel. I'm listening to it now.
