The love and grace of Jesus, who shed his blood for me, a person without merit or qualification, is nothing short of miraculous. The more I think about it, the more astonishing it becomes. He had no connection to me, yet through my being chosen as a child of God, He became my companion. This is, in fact, my greatest daily gratitude.
My other gratitudes include my family, my church community, and the stability I've been given in my life abroad. There are times of conflict and hurt, but ultimately, God heals the broken relationships and the wounds of the heart within faith.
I am sharing a meditation journal with a precious person. When I was first asked, I doubted my ability; I had no biblical knowledge. However, through the daily sharing and exchange of thoughts, I've discovered another side of myself, and this too is something I'm grateful for.
Lately, I've had a deep concern and hope. I can't guarantee that it will come to pass in my life, but if God's will is there, it could completely change my life. To prepare for that possibility, I need to delve deeper into my existing daily routines, rather than just preparing for it.
To be honest, I'm not sure what I'm good at besides music, or what I want to do. But what is clear is that, as I'm doing now, I can confidently express my heart, circumstances, and situation through writing. I don't know how this will become a powerful weapon in the future, but I hope it will serve as the driving force and stepping stone for the day that comes.
